Amanda Riley's debut contemporary romance novel features a Millennial FMC and a Cinnamon Roll MMC that have a unique and awkward meet cute that leads to a first date during happy hour. This dual POV spicy romcom with a guaranteed happily ever after follows Anna and Jase on their first date during happy hour at the local brewery, which happens to be a favorite for both of them.
They share their idiosyncratic playlists, connect over more awkward moments, and spend time together in their daily lives. When the FMC realizes she may be falling for him, the hurt she has from past relationships crops up and she has to decide if she's fallen for him too fast, or if he's safe to trust.

AuthorAmanda's passion for reading and writing started very young, and she always dreamed of being an author, but felt like that wasn't very practical. If you'd told her in 2025 that she'd write a contemporary romance novel to release into the world, she wouldn't have believed you.
Amanda took every creative writing opportunity she could from elementary school through college, then put writing on hold, while she worked in various careers and started a family. For the past 10 years, she's owned, managed, and scaled her own company, On The Ball, which partners with established CEOs to scale their businesses.
Amanda previously started a book draft that was a collection of humorous essays, but in late 2025, she took a stab at a spicy scene, shared it with a friend, and the rest is history. Amanda's debut spicy romcom was fully drafted in the first three months of 2026 and she hopes to release it as a self published author later this same year. She already has ideas for book two and three in this same series. Writing her debut novel is something she didn't anticipate, but is so excited to share.
Amanda is married to her husband of 15+ years, has two sons, and two cats.

Amanda’s goal is to raise $2500. These funds will enable the purchase of ISBN numbers, a professionally designed cover, a professional copy/line edit, filing a copyright, funding this author website, funding an author Google account, buying the software needed to format the book, and managing ARCs for early reviews. If 100 friends, family, and colleagues pre-order, Amanda will have more than enough to publish her book. Any additional funding will go towards publishing the other two planned books in this series.
