Hey, I’m Amanda.
Amanda Riley’s debut contemporary romance is a spicy, dual-POV romcom featuring your new favorite Millennial FMC and her unexpected cinnamon roll MMC.
Anna isn’t looking for anything serious - especially not after the way past boyfriends have treated her. But when an unexpected meet-cute with Jase turns into a last minute happy hour date at the local brewery they both happen to love, she decides to lean in.
Jase is calm, confident, and incredibly easy to like. Their first date leads to playful text banter, a connection they can’t ignore, and an irresistible urge to be together as much as possible. Their relationship deepens through their idiosyncratic playlists, offbeat awkward humor, and moments that feel just a little too meaningful to ignore.
When Anna realizes she might be falling, and that Jase hasn’t been entirely honest about his past or his family, old wounds resurface. The chemistry is easy, but trusting Jase is not. The real question isn’t whether Jase is worth it. It’s whether Anna accepts she’s worthy of his love.
A swoon worthy, funny, and very spicy romance with a guaranteed happily ever after. This book will have you laughing, kicking your feet, and begging for more.
Amanda Riley
AuthorAmanda's passion for reading and writing started very young, and she always dreamed of being an author, but felt like that wasn't very practical. If you'd told her in 2025 that she'd write a contemporary romance novel to release into the world, she wouldn't have believed you.
Amanda took every creative writing opportunity she could from elementary school through college, then put writing on hold, while she worked in various careers and started a family. For the past 10 years, she's launched and scaled her small business called On The Ball.
Amanda previously started a book draft that was a collection of humorous essays, but in late 2025, she took a stab at a spicy scene, shared it with a friend, and the rest is history. Amanda's debut spicy romcom was fully drafted in the first three months of 2026 and she hopes to release it as a self published author later this same year. She already has ideas for book two and three in this same series. Writing her debut novel is something she didn't anticipate, but is so excited to share.
Amanda is married to her husband of 15+ years, has two sons, and two cats.
